Image Fetch Utility(repost)
I have a mysql table that contains webpage urls, I would like to save a thumbnail of the largest image on the page. The input database table contains 2 columns:(id | url) The saved thumbnail should be named ' -46.gif' or -120px.gif respectively depending on the size. Considerations: here are 3 sample urls reflective of the type of pages I am trying to capture images from. The goal is to get a thumbnail of the recipe image. http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Marinated-Shrimp/Detail.aspx http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/Barbecue-Pulled-Turkey-Sandwiches-355752 http://www.kraftfoods.com/kf/recipes/mummy-face-pizzas-114029.aspx Will the largest image approach work? Please suggest alternative ways that may work better. I understand this won't be 100% all of the time but a solution that works on the 3 examples above should suffice. Thanks
