Hello, Please review the attachment for project details. Please take the necessary time to thoroughly read through the project details to ensure you grasp what needs to be done. At a very high level, this project will require a program to be written that will analyze a text file and will output a file with statistical information. The catch is that this program needs to be as inefficient as possible using any one or several of the provided algorithms (in the attachment). The program needs to be both front end and back end inefficient in how it gathers, sorts and outputs the data, but it needs to stay in the scope of the project. DO NOT USE A WHILE LOOP THAT GOES FROM 1 to 1,000,000 TO MAKE IT INEFFICIENT; THAT WILL NOT WORK! Also provided in the attachment (just for reference) are two sample programs, that were written a couple of years ago that basically does what the program should do (minus a few things)... but these two samples are not inefficient and are basically OLD code. I have also provided a quick analysis of several sorting algorithms to give you an idea on what is inefficient to what is efficient... basically, you need to use the most inefficient algorithms in this project. I need this program written in C++ using Visual Studio 2005. Programming code needs to be structured, follow standard programming standards, commenting, basic to intermediate level programming and most importantly, easy to read and understand. The program should compile without warnings or errors. I need this program completed and fully functional AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. When the program is complete, I will time how long it takes to analyze a file; slower the better.
