iPhone, MonoType, C# Project
We have an existing SQL Server 2005 / ASP.net 3.5 web application and codebase. We are looking to have a small iPhone utility that will have the following deliverables 1) Authentication - We want a user to login to the iPhone application and check login credentials against our SQL Server 2005 DB. The same login used for the web application would apply to the iPhone application. 2) Once logged in, the user would be displayed 2 menu items. One would be My Profile with display only profile data (up to 3 fields pulled from the DB table, name, address, profile name). And the other would be another similar lookup table displaying up to 3 fields, based on who the logged in user is. The main point of the small application would be to demonstate the authentication against our same DB and also to persist user credentials to display data specific to the logged in user. We are open to using LINQ or XML Web Services but need it to be built in Monotype framework as the existing code base is ASP.net/C# and SQL Server.
