As we focus on improved sustainability of disposable products, there are a number of options for rigid bioderived and biodegradable plastics and virtually none for elastomers. As both classes of materials are critical to the function of many devices we seek new bioderived and/or biodegradable elastomers. The proposal, which is subject to validation by the Seeker, should include a detailed description of the materials, technology and methods of producing an elastomer with the appropriate properties. Data and a sample are required.
