We need a part time product employee for an ecommerce shop. 15 hours per week to start, must work 3 consecutive hours between 9am - 5pm EST (NYC time) example; 10am - 1pm Monday - Friday EST (NYC Time) You must be available on Skype via chat, voice AND webcam. You should be familiar with HTML, laying out text and images in an attractive format. - Is a fast learner - Takes Initiative - Follows through with projects - Can type at least 40 words per minute, or work on your own time to increase typing speed. - Has good research skills - Has good organizational skills We are running a online vacuum shop with around 200 models of vacuums, you will be in charge of managing all of the products in a spreadsheet listing the current price and how much our top 5 competitors are selling them for. You will be responsible for maintaining our pricing on our website current with the market prices. You will also be in charge of fixing all of our product descriptions and images so they will be informative and attractive. You will get content and images from the manufacturers websites or from the competitors websites. We display 3 sizes of pictures per item and you will be charged with making sure all pictures are sized to spec. You will be responsible for learning enough about our products to effectively manage the product, give suggestions, keep up to date with new products our competitions is displaying and other important factors in our niche. You will provide a weekly report (or shared google document) to include; 1. All products prices vs. top 5 competitors price (list will build over time of course). 2. List of products updated that day/week. 3. Observations, cautions and concerns from the previous weeks work, and ideas and suggestions for your next weeks work.
