A platform where users sign up and start their account with $100,000 virtual cash and they buy and sell REAL stocks from feeds taken from Singapore, Shanghai, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Taiwan stock exchanges using api, i guess yahoo or google api. here are the features 1. user signs up ( username, email, pass, repeat pass ) 2. he gets email to confirm account 3. he logins 4. his accounst starts with $100,000, if he wants to have more cash on his account he can buy another $100,000 virtual for $10 real cash :) using 2checkout.com or paypal 5. He can buy any stock from Singapore, Shanghai, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Taiwan stock exchanges To buy a stock, there must be these values - Stock market ( drop down menu with stock markets ) - Stock ticker ( live feed from stocks ) - Quantity to buy ( i place in how many stocks to buy ) - Price ( based on live feed ) 6. Once he buys a stock, this data must appear per stock - Stock market - Stock ticker - Buying Price - Pieces - Total cost - Current price ( live feed ) - Total Current value ( based on live feed ) - Return ( perntage change from buying price and current price ) These must appear for every stock and at the end the sum of all stocks i bought need to show these numbers - Total Cost of Portfolio ( total cost of all stocks i bought ) - Total Current value of porftolio ( total value based on live feeds ) - Return ( percentage change from cost and current value ) To sell a stock, there must be these values - Stock market ( drop down menu with stock markets ) - Stock ticker ( live feed from stocks ) - Quantity to sell ( i place in how many stocks to sell ) - Price ( based on live feed ) When i buy a stock my virtual cash of $100,000 decreases by how much i used to buy stocks when i sell stocks my virtual cash of $100,000 increases or decreases by how much money i made or i lost All users have public profile at http://username.mywebsite.com where they will have 1. their foto 2. a small introduction about them 3. all the stocks they owe 4. total value of portfolio 4. if u click on a stock i owe it shows stock information from the feed 5. comments, any other user can leave comments on my account At homepage there must be Top 20 investors ( users ) based on return on investment, with following data shown 1. username ( link to my personal page ) 2. small foto 3.
