Our organization, the Intercultural Alliance of Artists & Scholars, Inc. (theiaas.org) is looking for a virtual assistant specifically to transcribe interviews for our website, http://www.phatitude.org and our literary publication, phati'tude. There will be 4 tapes, some up to approx. 2-1/2 hours long that will need to be transcribed and properly formatted (Dictation will be emailed in a .WMA format). If this assignment is handled successfully, then we would like you to continue working for us on our http://www.phatitude.org by doing the following: (1) work research literary articles to update the website for our frontpage; and (2) find literary events around the world on the internet to be posted in our calendar, which would include minor edits to fit our format. Candidate must have exceptional English skills (this is an absolute must!). editing and research skills as well as be able to transcribe tapes in a timely, accurate manner. The job will not start until the week ending March 19, 2010. Since we are on a tight schedule and expect quick turnaround, we will be looking at resumes very carefully in making our final selection.
