I have a client that has an image/logo that they like to distribute to partners so they can print or display on web ( means lots of hi and low res files types EPS - JPG) this is not usually an issue because they make all of these statically and then upload to the site for download. They would now like to do some fun things for partners like let them add some text to the logo to say the type of partner they are. The text they add is fixed by the company but it can be rearranged and there are lots of combinations of the text that would go under the logo. for example Logo sql partner c# partner Logo WPF partner Flash vendor OEM the spacing and rules are also effected by the number of rows of text that are under the logo that have to help enforce style guidlines for the treatment of the logo. So here is what i need. I need a way that we have a page where we show the logo base image, allow a user to check some check boxes to add the text of that check box to the image area (via ajax) and then let them click a button to download the completed file. they are then asked if they want a eps, png (transparent), jpg or tiff etc.. for the raster formats we can ask for a dimension if you like. The server then puts the image together for the end user and they now get the file. I have read lots of different approaches to asolutioin but am unsure how best to handle the vector image type like eps. Lets hear some ideas and then get started on a proof of concept app for this. I prefer something in .net as a base but read that flash might be good for this for getting to svg and then to the other formats. so propose to me the best solution you think and a cost and timeline
