Hi friends - We are just in the beginning process of building a brand new web based software/service. Without giving it away, this will basically be a tool that people can use to have virtual meetings and other things with. For the first phase of the project, we are just in development stage of the plan. For this part we are looking for someone who would work with us to build the plan and outline the entire project plan and software functionality. This will clear up a lot of confusion in the long run. You would be in charge of working directly with me to formulate a plan, put it on paper, and then potentially work with me to carry it out and implement the plan. We are looking for someone who has a good grasp on Web 2.0 online based software. This person will also have a good handle on integration of social media software into existing software and also other technologies. We are going to be integrating third party video and chat technologies into this project. You must also understand various APIs to see how we can integrate with them. Also, you must be very creative and have a good business sense that would help with this planning process. The perfect candidate is someone who has experience building/project management of LARGE web 2.0 projects like FreshBooks, BaseCamp, etc. If you don't have experience with large projects like that, please don't apply. You will need to provide proof of the projects that you have worked on. Also, you will need to have PHP & MySQL programming knowledge. If you wish to be considered for this project you must have positive feedback, a portfolio, Skype, and good English skills so that we may discuss this entire project. You will also be required to sign a NDA for this (which is not a problem for most people as it is standard). As I stated at the beginning of this, we are going to be looking for someone to help us complete Phase 1 of this project. If that same person has the web development skills on a large scale, they have a very good potential of staying on and developing the software with us in Phase 2 and launch it in Phase 3. If the relationship works out well, we would consider longterm relationship and possibly fulltime virtual employment with our company.
