Detailed Requirements Administration Reporting Management System (ARMS) is a GUI application that is used to track messages, create reports and edit transactions and resubmit to processing applications. A new capability is required in ARMS that allows editing of XML transactions which later will be submitted for reprocessing. The XML transactions are stored in an ARMS database and each XML document represents a record of a message. This XML document can then be retrieved to be edited by a GUI. The component that is to be designed will be used in this ARMS GUI application to process an XML message and return a Java Bean (or some data object) that the GUI can use to present the information and allow users to edit the data. Once the users are done with the edit, the component will receive an updated object containing the edits and serialize an updated XML message.
