We are a stealth-mode startup building software tools to help application developers build and manage systems that use cloud computing platforms like Amazon Web Services, Google App Engine, Sales(Force.com), Rackspace, and a growing list of other services. The name cloudtric comes from the fact that people often compare cloud computing to the electric grid. "turn it on, turn it off" - 100 years ago you needed a generator at your house to have electric, now you just plug in. Same is happening with cloud computing, no more servers in your company, just plug in to "the cloud". Every startup stays this, but we are building something different, something cool, and we want our logo and branding to convey that, without being too "out there" that we stand out in a negative way when trying to sell to corporations (our primary market).
