We are involved with the relaunch of a website aimed the UK catering and restaurant industry and are looking for articles from different writers with different backgrounds. Although the articles are primarily aimed at a UK readership, the content of the articles can be as wide and varied as the writer wishes. For every restaurant in the world, there are a 1000 different opinions. Everybody has an interest in food, the ingredients, the method by which they are cooked and the way it’s served. Just imagine eating out in London, Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Istanbul, Beirut, Dehli, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, San Francisco, Mexico, Kingston and New York and thinking how different each place is to the other. Where you live doesn’t matter, it’s your ability to excite the imaginations of our readership with your ideas, views and passions. Perhaps you live in on the Indian subcontinent; it would be fascinating to read about local delicacies or a popular restaurant in your area. Maybe you have worked in the catering industry in the UK and have returned back home? Perhaps you have a view on safety or government legislation? Maybe you have an interest in catering equipment and keep abreast of the latest technologies. Perhaps you have attended some cooking classes or vocational training for the catering industry? Those are just few ideas which you could cover. We are not setting minimum or maximum word targets for each article, just that they are well written, informative and relevant. The ability to include photographs of your subject matter would be greatly beneficial. How to apply. For each article, we ask you to send us a brief outline of the subject matter. We’ll get back to you to within 24 hours and say whether we think it will be suitable for our website. We may say “yes” but ask you to revise your ideas slightly.
