We are in need of a Customized related posts plugin for Wordpress 3.0 We want to build off of a plugin called CPR or Custom Posts Relationships. We really like the ability to search for posts and order them. Here are the downfalls of this plugin: 1. It does not to 2 way relationships which the Microkid's plugin does nicely. In another words if I add the relationship to one post and go to the post we related, it is currently not there unless I add it there too. We need it to be two way. 2. We need the ability to link two separate Wordpress instances. By this I mean that we would like to install the plugin on one WP instance and have the ability to either keep the relationship just within itself, or be able to point it at a second database (which may or may not be on the same server, passing user name and PW). The current plugin has no settings page, which isn't a big deal but this would be a great location to set the connection. 3. The current search for posts within CPR is nice, allowing you to filter your results (since we will be looking at thousands of post to search to relate). We also like the ajax piece in the Microkid's plugin so that you can type part of the post title and it gives you a list to choose from. Could we combine the two ways to find posts into the new plugin? NOTE: We may need multiple copies of the plugin to reside on the same Wordpress instance and co-exist. So one may relate posts within the same wordpress instance and the other would relate post in this Wordpress instance to post in a separate database. If this is too hard to do, we could request two plugins. One to handle local relationships and one to handle local to an outside Database. We need this quickly. Keywords: PHP, Wordpress
