I am in a rush to complete this design and need someone who fully understands and can act quickly. Simply put, I need a website designed. This is a simple website and you will only need to create a few pages. I will take the pages and the template and create the rest of the pages myself, upload it, ect. The website needs to meet three requirements: 1. The design needs to be simple, but professional and STUNNING 2. The design needs to be optimized for good search engine ranking 3. It needs to load quickly The website will serve three purposesrent a product, sell a product, and buy products from customers. So there are really three different sections to the website. However, I want a uniform design. The index page needs to promote the three options. From there, I will need three pages for renting, buying, and selling. The three pages will be very similar in design with only small design changes. I want the design to be a basic header with the logo and navigation, content, and then a footer. The header and footer will remain consistent throughout the site. The content will of course change, but I was thinking something along the lines of keepingthe content in separate boxes/tables. Colors and theme: I want the design to have a white background. The theme colors should be greenI want the primary color to be a dark forest green. I like the contrast been the dark green and the white. Part of the advertising for the website is being green or good for the envronment. Navigation: I want four basic navigation buttons/links/tabs in the headerHome, Buy, Sell, and Rent. I want additional text navigation in the header area (probably top right) with links such as shopping cart, your account, ect. I will need additional text links in the header (drop down from the three main navigation probably). I will also need text links in the footer. The links should all have rollover effectschange color basically. Obviously, the index page is the most important. Like I said, it needs to be simple, stunning, and mostly fast. I will need space for approx. 250 words body. It will need to display the three different options and direct the visitor to one of those options. I also want areas to display blog updates, facebook request, ect. I really want the design to locate to the middle of the browser and have a shade effect along the sides. I will provide the logo. Now for examples: Chegg.com is the leading textbook rental website. This is something similiat to what I will be doing. They rent and buy textbooks, but I will need a third optionbuying the item also. The design is simple, quick, and mostly attractivealthough I personally dont like the design. This website illustrates the simplicity the I want. Textbookrecycling.com is a great design. This is what I want to convey and it also has a great color scheme. There really is not a part of the deisgn I do not like. Notice they display both options on the index pagebuy and sell textbooks. Again, I will need the third optionrent. My products will be limited to less than a dozen so I will not need search. I like how the content is broken into the different boxes. Yourenew.com is another great example. I like how the content is seperated into separate boxes. I will need those type of boxes for testimonials, guarantee info, blog updates, ect. They have a great three step illustrationI will need something along those lines for two of the interior pages. Click on sell an item and that will show you want I am looking for as far as the sell portion of this website. Like I said though, I only have about a dozen items. Sellitused is another good example of a website that buys items. I like the color scheme and the overall layout. Although, I prefer the page to center in the broweser more like textbookrecycling.com. Nextworth.com is another website the buys items. I like the way the page centers in the browser. The design is a little blaw, but overall a nice website. I really like the flash three step illustration. Hopefully those example will give youa good idea of what I like. To summarize, I will need a stunning yet simple index page. I will then need three inerior pagessell, buy, rent. These pages are simpler than the index page and will retain the same header and footer. You will only need to setup the content area. The buy page should be very simple as I am seeing simple grid type display of the products and boxed info to the right or left. The sell pagecontent should be simple with a three step illustration. I will later add a script that will allow the visitor to select an item, select options, and then get a quote. You will just need to set up the design aspect, I will have someone else add the script and work with your design and layout. The rent page is also simple, a three step illustration (can be very similar to the sell illsutration) and display approx. 6 products. Hopefully, I did not make this sound too complex as it is a very simple design really. I just want you to have good info as to what I need. Please PM me for any additional details.
