remote online support agents needed
Hello, We are an online remote monitoring service company and we are currently looking for online agents to work from their home or remote location. Our agents typically work from their home or office and are required to have their own computer with good speakers and have access to reliable internet connection. Pls note that no mic is required for this job as the agent does not have to hold conversations. Agents will have the skype software installed on their computer Agents will also have a softphone (that we will provide) installed on their computer 1) Each agent will be provided with a username and passowrd for skype login 2) Agents will be provided username and password to activate their softphone 3) agents will be provided with our company database website The following describes the daily responsibilities of each agent: 1) Begin the day by login into the skype account. also login to activate the softphone 2) Use a web browser to open the company database search page 3) use skype to communicate with any other agent online and announce your presence online by typing "CLOCKED IN" as soon as you have logged in. Also agents should announce their exit by typing "CLOCKED OUT" when signing out. 4) agents wait for the softphone to ring. 5) when the phone rings agents observe the incoming call number and hang up the softphone 6)the currently online agents decide among themsleves on who should handle the call. if only one agent is online, that agents handles the call THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBES HOW TO HANDLE A CALL 7) agent searches for the skype group that corresponds to the call number by searching the list in the skype account 8) Agent searches the company website for the message corresponding to the call number by using the call number as the search paramter 9) Agent copies the message from the company website, open a text message window in skype by right clicking on the skype group and selecting "SMS". Agent pastes the message into the new sms window and sends the message. The text message is thus sent to all the contacts in that group. 8) Agent makes a FLASH CALL to the skype group. The following describes how make a flash call -right click on the skype group and select "CALL" - listen to the speaker - hang up the phone just as soon as someone picks up the call or as soon as it goes to voicemai. NOTE: DO NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE AND DO NOT SPEAK. This is all that the agent needs to do for each call. All the steps described can be done in 30 seconds. The key thing to note is that the response has to be IMMEDIATE. This is key. Therefore agent must be alert and speakers should be turned up to ensure that no call is missed. This is a great job that can be done from any remote location and it does not require much other than time and alertness.
