=========================== Startup Website development =========================== I need a developer to set up a development environment and build some website functionalities. The intention is to build a development where a few programmers can RDP into to write software. I will VPN/RDP in from the USA occasionally to check the work. The tasks are: 1. Identify an appropriate server hosting service that runs SQL Server and place a development VMware server. Perform a cost-benefit analysis of 3 hosting service against the following criteria: cost, reliability, accessibiblity by VPN & Remote Desktop. Make a table of this comparison for our discussion. 2. Given a VMware image of an Ektron CMS app server to deploy, ensure the hosting service configures any needed network & security settings to enable VPN & Remote Desktop from a typical developer's household in Vietnam and my access from the US. 3. Given a database export and you will ensure the hosting service imports it into their SQL Server. 4. I will give you an introduction to the Ektron CMS and try to answer any questions that you have. You will go through online tutorials and learn-by-doing development tasks. 5. From there, you will automate the loading of user groups and associated data using Selenium in C# to drive the Ektron GUI. I have the code but you will need to debug the Selenium commands and to come up with working ones. The code is only a few pages, 90% of which is Selenium, so the flow is very trivial. This coding task is intended to be an introductory task to get you acquainted with the system so that you can perform work on project that I will post in the future. I have about 1 year's worth of work on this system that I will need you to do soon.
