I need to hire a programmer to develop a web application that will update our database in real time. The web app will be a large box filled with small squares. (see our website for a mockup... www.clickums.com). 1.) Box CAN NOT be clicked unless user is registered and has purchased "clicks". Thus, we need registration and payment solution developed that will update the database to reflect user authentication and account information. This should be developed in PHP/mysql. 2.) Once a user logs in and funds his account, he will get a certain number of "clicks." (THINK SWOOPO AND "BIDS"). When the user clicks a tile/square, the website must update in real time to reflect the "click" to all other users on the site. I was think that this widget would be developed using ajax or javascript or jquery but anything that looks/works great is fine. 3.) On each click, the database must be UPDATED GLOBALLY. The idea behind the website is that under one of the squares is a winner of a product (i.e. iPhone or Macbook). Each click will cost 60 cents to purchase. I will do all design work but I need the database, real-time widget with clickable squares, payment/login/registration systems to all be completely developed. Everything must be completely SECURE.
