I have some questions for a developer for a script I want to backup my website to amazon s3. I have a not-powerful shared host website, which contains large files, so i cant run a php script to backup files. I have some questions on ways to solve this 1) Can a script be run that allows server to server transfers? FTP direct to amazon s3? 2) if this is possible, can files be encrypted during transfer or does the server have to download the file first? 3) Would some kind of sync logic be possible, so files that havent changed dont need to be re-trasnfered? Perhaps it can just look at date information on the files (new date replaces old)
