Joomla login extension. I have a joomla website, running php and javascript programs. I need add the following to the default Joomla login. When a user logs in, the UserGroupId must be search for in a "UserGroup" table. The "UserGroup" table has the following fields: - UserId - UserGroupId When the UserGroupId is found, then the Usergrouprights are retrieved from the "UserGroupRights" table. The UserGroupRights has the following fields: - UserGroupId - A lot of fields, describing the permission rights of this usergroup. I would like to store the values of all the fields of the retrieved usergroup record in a "UserGroupRights" variable. Then in the php source I want to do something like: if ( $UserGroupRights['AppointmentAccess'] = 'Y' ) ... OK proceed .... else ... issue an error .... The worker who is bidding has to retrieve the usergrouprights of the logged in user and store it in such a way that the php/javascript programmer can easily find out if the user is allowed to perform a certain task or if a user has access rights to certain information.
