We are on the hunt for talented members of our design team who can create something magical for our small business clients by developing high-quality websites. We would like to find a few people to outsource web design to on a routine basis. We have about 20-30 new clients a month that require design customizations made to a basic Wordpress template. We do all the backend work (setting up domain, hosting, Wordpress installation, theme upload/activation, etc.), but we need to outsource the design customization portion of our process. We use Basecamp (www.basecamphq.com) to manage communication with the client and have a straightforward design process that usually takes anywhere from 5-20 hours depending on the level of customization required. Preference will be given applicants who have one or more of the following experiences: Coding with HTML, CSS, and Javascript; Developing themes for Wordpress in PHP; Troubleshooting code to ensuring cross-browser compatibility and WC3 validity; Working with all types of graphics; Interacting directly with customers to ensure that their design needs are met; If interested, please send links to examples of your work for consideration.
