User Management System for Moodle
We are using a MySQL database to authenticate and add users to our Moodle site. We want to use an external database table to manage the enrolments in Moodle. Our authentication table has columns userid and department and we need a script/site which will look at what department the user is in, and then add a row to a new table for each course they should be enrolled in. EXISTING USER TABLE: user1,sales user2,admin user3,IT NEW COURSE ENROLMENT TABLE: user1,sales user1,products user1,customer service user2,msoffice 2007 user3,programming 101 user3,helpdesk training We have a list of what departments should access what courses but don't know how to manage this (whether it will be a web interface, or if we create a spreadsheet with these or whatever).
