Pre-definded shopping cart
Hi Everyone We are running a Magento site that is more just a shopping cart then an e-commerce site. What we need to be able to do is build a pre-defined pre-filled shopping cart and link this so it can be sent to a customer: Scenario 1: Customer needs 150 quantity of Product A($1) The shopping cart is built with a quantity of 150 of Product A totalling $150.00 Customer receives the link, when they visit the link they find the pre-filled shopping cart with the above quantity to which they can login or checkout as a guest. The idea here being we can request payment for a certain item or items with the least amount of barriers for the customer to make payment. Also this system needs to be repeatable and flexible to allow for any combination of existing products and quantities. Scenario 2: Customer needs 10 quantity of Product A($1) and 2 quantity of Product B($10) The shopping cart is built with a quantity of 10 of Product A and quantity of 2 of Product B totalling $20.00 Customer receives the link, when they visit the link they find the pre-filled shopping cart with the above quantity to which they can login or checkout as a guest.
