This application will have a normal google map with a search bar (outside the map area). When the user searches for something the map will focus on the search area. When the map focuses a database will be searched for some locations. Those locations will be plotted on the map and some averages will be displayed outside the map area. The database will be provided along with the functions to get the proper data. All we need is that when the map is focused the boundries are passed to a php function and the function will return the locations to be plotted on the map and the averages to be displayed outside the map. These locations need to have different icons than the default google maps icon. This has to be done using google maps api v3 and jquery. Keywords: Web Programming, google, basic, v3, map, api, jquery
