I'm looking for a queen sized bed quilt (can be machine quilted) in cotton. I would like it in creamy/white with lots of red, maybe also some pale blue, and possibly pale yellow, and grey ...use your creativity. To have an idea of my taste: I love these (but not limited to): Amy Butler-wallflower in cherry and also in sky. Amy Butler full moon polkadot in cherry and ESPECIALLY her Morning Glory in Linen. Also Freebird by Moda Balls in ivory/geranium, Balls in daffodil, and Ovals in geranium. I also don't mind a little chocolate in there if it suits. I LOVE POLKADOTS...(but not too juvenile). I do not require a quilt with fancy piecing, and would be very satisfied with a windowpane style or something of that nature.--even Strips of fabric sewn together randomly...I love meander style quilting, but am open to suggestions. I would like to see a co-ordinating print as the backing and a cotton batting (as opposed to a polyester one). I DO NOT WANT A RAG QUILT!! I don't have a ridiculous deadline or anything...I do some quilting as well, but this is a birthday gift for ME!! (and I don't want to sew it this time!!)
