This is not a blind project, we have audio and transcribed notes that describes what we do, and the message that we want to convey on our site. We need two pages, 1. One for the Home Page that describes who we are and what we stand for: Motivate and provide tools for people to pursue and take ambitious actions that will lead them to create unique meaningful results in their life while still being a human being (a person that is not completely perfect). 2. For the Seminar page: Intriguing Copy that will lead to people registering for the seminar. What we want our website to be: - Intriguing - Genuine - Real - Raw - Blunt - Fascinating We want our Website to: - Access the language and way that people really talk and have it be a conversation between I and the reader as if we were long time friends. - Cause people to Realize the truth (rather than just flat out telling them the truth.) ‘‘I know it will shock you to hear this but telling the truth is rarely persuasive. But if you want the truth to prevail, you must cause people to realize the truth. That requires much more skill than is required simply to tell it. Honest persuasion is the water that will put out any fire.” – Roy Hollister Williams - Engage the Imagination The physical body will always journey where the mind has already taken it. Therefore, find ways to engage the imagination of those you wish to influence. People will only go wherever their imagination directs them, so develop ways to engage the imagination. - Paint a vivid Image in their mind. The ability to use words skillfully to paint a vivid image in the mind of the reader is the most impressive power any human being can exemplify. Catching the reader’s attention is solely a matter of enticing them to think about something more interesting than whatever currently occupies their mind. Achieve that and you have the chance to make a sale. Fail to achieve that and you don’t have a prayer. - Ruffle a few feathers - Cover the loopholes: Address the naysayers: How can I follow my ambition and still be responsible in life? - Answer “Why should I care” from the perspective of the client. - Capture the Hearts of the Reader.
