I am looking for a hard case for my Kindle 2. I want something that is hard like plastic, and not just "padded" (like foam) or "stiff" (like cardboard). I want to be able to drop my Kindle and not die a little on the inside. I want to be able to put my Kindle in my purse and not worry about makeup, ink, or general purse fuzz getting on my baby :) I plan on using this to store my Kindle and will fully remove Kindle from the case when I'm ready to read. I'm NOT looking for something that will hold my Kindle while I read from it. The main purpose of the cover is protection from "The Elements" (that reside inside my purse). I am reluctant to buy Kindle covers currently being sold because I don't want the open edges so many seem to have. I'm open to design styles and am willing to be flexible on what this will look like. Ideally, the end product would be Indiana University-themed, but that's not necessary at all. Keywords: kindle
