We are looking for a voice for 8 to 10 episodes of Iowa Insights, a monthly audio podcast produced by the University of Iowa. The show features research or creative work by faculty and students at the university. The tone should be informative and trustworthy, but lively and at times playful, depending on the topic. We are going for storyteller, not corporate/announcer. Each episode will run 5-10 minutes, but the narration would only be a portion of that - for example, the first episode only requires 4 minutes of narration. We need someone who can work with us each month of the upcoming school year to ensure a consistent voice for this project. Payment would be made on a per-episode basis, so please indicate in your bid how much you would charge per show. The budget range is for the project as a whole. The podcast is intended for a general audience.
