Wav file analysis - audio
The prototype application will upload a URL of a .wav file (parties talking on the phone). The app will analyze the wav, graph the wav form and return a jpg of the image. As a second step, the app will measure percentage of talking vs blank air. Audacity and NCF are examples of audio editors. The app I am requesting a bid for requires the wav form presentation of audactiy and measures the amount of dead air on a phone call. Please suggest open source or licensed software, and also your bid for the project. The app will require a basic web page to upload a cvs. The CVS will contain 1) unique ID 2) URL with wav file ie http://www.website.com/audiofileuniqueID.wav The web page will enable the download of a CSV with the unique ID, and a URL of an image of the wav file (jpg, gif). Hosted on my server. This is phase 1. Phase 2 - would be to analyze the wav with silence detection. My goal is to record a phone call and determine if humans are talking (compared to music or silence). Please provide your experience with audio and/or transcription (Nuance, etc) when applying.
