Connecting Crystal Reports to MYSQL online on virtual private server
The project is to set up MYSQL on a virtual private server online, and set up the database connector for Crystal Reports 2008. Then upload a backup from another application and run the script to re-create the database. The installation should then allow us to upload a daily backup, write reports with Crystal Reports 2008 and users can then use Crystal Reports Viewer to read the reports online or download the reports. We have already created such a system locally and we now need to have the application online. We have just acquired the virtual server online with a hosting company.
