I'm looking for a knee length slip made of washable silk, preferably stretchy, with short sleeves. I don't know why these don't exist for sale in stores. I think an item like this would help increase the number of times I could wear a dress before dry cleaning. I'm conceptualizing this sort of like a silk long underwear top, only much longer and with shorter sleeves. I would want the sleeves to be snug to slide easily into dresses, and it should have a boat neck. What do you think? I wear a small/size 4. If it works out well I would order another.
