Resourcespace installation (problem with imagemagick and ghostscript

We have installed a DAM called resourcespace on a VPS server and it seems that there is a problem as this system uses imagemagick and ghostscript to convert files on upload. The scripts have been installed but it seems the application can not access them correctly. This needs to be solved and the supplier needs a good understanding of these scripts and linux to solve this.
