You will most likely be U.S. based and have experience writing or re-writing news articles. The new items will be written in 3rd person and follow normal news format i.e. *not* article format. You will be knowledgeable about U.S. based sports, with a broad based interest in most sports. Please also indicate the sports you primarily follow and can write about in extensive detail if required. You will choose the stories to write each day, keeping in mind that you will be writing to attract visitors, so popularity and "freshness" of the news subject must be taken into account. Stale news is old news. You will source your re-writes from multiple sources e.g U.S edition of Google news, dedicated sports sites and so on. This will allow you to create unique re-writes. The re-writes will be 100 % original, except where quoting, written using U.S. English and grammar. There can be no copy & paste and mixing of paragraphs from different sources, stories must be in your own words, and have a clear and concise logic flow. I will require 2-5 items a day, 300 - 500 words, with first story available by 10:00 EST (NY). This is an ongoing position, so please quote per 100/words. If you would like stories attributed to you with a byline, bio & link back to a site of your choosing, please say so and we may be able to some arrangement. When reply, please include links to published stories or written samples of news articles. If you do not have samples, then you will be required to do a 300-400 word re-write of a chosen news item.
