My website has been online for 18 months. This is a small urban community radio/media website-online radio/podcasting with video and editorial text content. The coding is a little outdated. I'm interviewing website programmers to find the right person/team for the upgrade design. My budget is $475. I need a professional programmer to get the job completed with in the allotted budget. My current site http://harlemtalkradio.com (HTR) is an online radio/podcast website. we have six radio show programs. HarlemTalkRadio interviews and talk with quest on resourceful topics. The website has given me problems, due to its coding and programming design. I like the look and feel of my site; however the layout does not offer visitors an easy, user friendly experience, especially the archive of audio and video content. The website often crashes and goes down until my website hosting tech support helps to bring it back online. These are the top issues I'm having with HarlemTalkRadio.com: • Website takes a long time to load (9 to 12 seconds load time). • Website breaks up in different browsers. It looks right in firefox, but does not look right in Internet Explorer, Opera and Safari. • Website goes down often. • The design of article/post is designed poorly. I need a magazine style layout below-the-fold. • There is no jquery/scrolling gallery to promote and advertise radio show, show’s host, guest and news-topics. • Radio host interviewers page does not exist: A host page provides information on host’s background, picture of host, current and future guest to be interviewed. • Archive page for video and audio is poorly designed and structured. • Main navigation buttons and it’s pages does not have a unique search descriptive title tag an page description for SEO. • MEMBERS PAGE- members can’t get back once they leave. Needs nav or link to get to and from member’s page. Many of the updates are very basic, quick and easy to implement. Alphabetized system-user friendly • Left side> PROGRAM & SCHEDULE button/link need to be repositioned and/or designed to show functions. • SCHEDULE button/link must be re-designs to easily update new shows, host, new special guest and important topics to be covered. • RIGHT SIDE, Add an ON-AIR image that flashes RED to indicate when a show is live • Over live audio player add a red flashing ON-AIR image.
