We help needy children in Nepal through scholarships, medical care, children’s homes, and more. How long have you been in business? 20 years. What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity? Attract people who may want to donate. What are your long term goals? Raise awareness about our organization and our projects in Nepal , and raise more money. When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer? Sept. 14 Audience Profile: Please describe your existing audience People in the Western World who might donate to us. Adults of all ages, but not children. People who are compassionate toward people in developing countries and/or children. Primarily people of middle or upper income. Who would you like to add to your audience? The same people Perception/Tone/Guidelines: What type of logo would you like? Text and image, preferably with an image that can also stand alone. Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?) We’re willing to change our current color palette, but only if we get a suggestion that we feel is truly an improvement. Our current palette includes (in hex and CMYK): red (CC0000; 0,100,100,20), brown (660000; 0,100,100,60), and white, with small amounts of yellow (FFCC00; 0,20,100,0) and peach (FFCC99, 0,20,40,0). Years ago, we had a logo with a lotus illustration, and some of us have a preference for a lotus. Preferably, we would like the logo to have something that represents Nepal/Himalaya, children, or both. But we’re open to any ideas. We don’t want anything that’s extremely cute, whimsical, or fun.
