PHPFOX plugin - module
Goal: to create PHPFOX plugin / module I am new to phpfox so if an expert has a suggestion as to another way to do this I will be interested in their recommendations. Plugin will act as a group that members can join. It will be region specific as are the regular groups, with a city, state/province, zip/postal code The group is actually a group of people that want to buy a number of items in a container, (group) and each member joining a group choose how many items they want to reserve in the container, as they join the group. Each member joining a group is actually reserving / agreeing to purchase a number of items in that container. SO for example say the container has 120 pieces in it. The member will be agreeing to purchase any number of items in that container, that is still available, up to the maximum number the admin has set as being in that container, (in this example 120). SO if there were 2 members joining this group and there are 120 pieces in the container and the first member had already bid to take 10 pieces, of the 120, then the next member joining can take up to 110 pieces, and so on, until the total number of pieces have been spoken for at which point no new members will be able to join. In order to join the group member must have subscribed to a premium package, and agree to the terms of the group by checking an I agree to these terms, box, to be a part of the group. On index page of site, a box will show listing current groups available to join with picture representing group, (and number of items remaining available in that group, to logged in members, if this is not too hard to do). If possible I would like to be able to edit the size of container and quantity of pieces in it in site admin. A link below the groups will say something like if you do not see a group available in your area Click here to request a group in your area, now I am looking for someone with previous verifiable experience with creating plugins for PHPFOX.
