On www.overbye.no/forsider I have two scripts which runs once a day checking for new images on a server, fetching the images, creating cataloges on my server and saving the images there with new file names, creating a daily wordpress entry and displaying the images in that entry. The scripts fetches the front pages of daily newspapers, and displays them in a Wordpress entry where the script defines the entrys Title: Dagens forsider [week day] [dd.mm yyyy] Exerpt: [newspaper A name], [newspaper B name] og [newspaper C name] [week day] [dd.mm yyyy] Tags: [newspaper A name], [newspaper B name], [newspaper C name], forsider, avisforsider, oppslag, [week day] Now I would like to modify this script and how it interacts with Wordpress: 1. I would like the script to run every hour, fetching new images on the server but not replicating images already fetched. 2. The script should check to alternate paths for each image, one for large image files and one for small image files. If the large one exists, fetch this one, else fetch small else don't fetch. 3. Instead of all images in one entry, I would like to have one entry for each image. 4. Text in the wordpress entry should be defined by the script Title: Dagens forside for [newspaper name] [week day] [dd.mm yyyy] Exerpt: [newspaper name], [week day] [dd.mm yyyy] Tags: [newspaper name], forsider, avisforsider, oppslag, [week day], 5. The front page of the wordpress installment should display a small (thumbnail) version of the image as the link to the entry, not any title of the entry or any other text. 6. There should be a category page or tag page where I could se only entries tagged with a particular newspaper name. This page should display a small (thumbnail) version of the image as the link to the entry, together with the title of the entry. 7. The css and look and feel of entries, front page and category pages needs to be consistent with the rest of my site. I will put the agreed sum in escrow, but I need to see a working version of the script on your servers and then have the script working on my server before releasing the escrow.
