We want the look of a real, weathered half-round lobster trap to "catch" all the cards at our wedding, but at about half the size of the real deal! (Approx. 16"x12"x7") Anything I've seen on the internet looks a little too fake for us hardcore lobster fanatics or is covered in seashells and other kitch. I mean, people would be less likely to run off with our full-size lobster trap (and it would be wicked cool), but a smaller Etsy reproduction would certainly be a bit easier to manage. Should have a hinged top like the real deal (so we can get the cards and lobsters out). The netting wouldn't have to be completely elaborately reproduced on the inside, like we wouldn't be catching lobsters, but more detail than the usual cut out a square from a wooden crate and tack net over it.
