I'm looking to develop a simple php/mysql script that interacts with Facebook via its API. here is the process. step 1 (sign-up process): a visitor arrives at the site, they login using their Facebook information (via Facebook API and is now done commonly everywhere). step 2 (welcome & start searching): when the user logs a simple welcome message will appear and then a list of categories or search box where the user can enter their own word. for example it's "chocolate" - this script you send that to the Facebook search option [http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/search/?flt=1&q=chocolate&o=65] which would provide a list of Pages with that term and the option to LIKE the page is there too. step 3 (display results on our site for user): the results should be displayed to the user who is logged in and can start clicking the LiKE button. I would like to keep track how many times a user click on the Like option. step 4 (in the futuer): once there are users, I want our users to appear above any searches results. the goal is to offer user the option where they can manually do all the liking themselves or if they check a box, then they would automatically "LIKEd" a page, once that user has "LIKED" her fan page. Currently this is being down by many for twitter instead of LIKEs its FOLLOWERS. In twitter user prefer to follow user who follow them back. I want that option available, so when a user logs in tomorrow they may already have 10 new LIKEs due to her selecting the option to reciprocate LIKEs, I would like to keep this first version simple, at the end of the day, many of my user want more LIKE's without paying for them to Zombie accounts in India. Instead we can provide an environment where user can see FAN pages, and then click "LIKE", with other site member user being top of the list or even automatically. That way once you sign-up you will get almost all members Liking your Fan page, as you click and like their fan pages. Anyone with Facebook login/authentication will have an advantage, but I'm also not looking for a high-end solution with full designed graphics,etc. I'm looking for a beta software maybe 100-200 user will use it. I like the idea of using a point reward system in place, but I also don't want this to be a big costly project at this point.
