Freelance Lecturer/Trainer
We are a well respected training and consultancy company in the Aerospace and Defence industry, and we are looking for experienced software and/or systems engineers to join our technical team of lecturers within the training/consulting arm of our successful business. This opportunity will involve the development and delivery of bespoke Software/Systems Engineering training material for real-time / embedded systems within the aerospace and defence sector (both on and off site). You don't necessarily have to have training experience but be a confident and personable professional who has the potential to be a trainer and be able to share your knowledge. This diverse role will potentially include: * Researching new technologies * Understanding customer technical needs * The development of bespoke course material (including worked examples) * On-site consultancy * Technical support This challenging role requires the candidate to posses: * Good presentation skills * A professional approach and appearance * The ability to communicate well * The ability to explain concepts clearly Due to the technical nature of this job, we are looking for people to have at least 10 years experience of software and/or systems development. Training can be provided where needed, but you should possess skills in some (or all) of the following areas: * Design techniques (OOA/OOD) * UML/SysML * Ada, AdaTest, * C, C++, Java * HOOD, CORE * Embedded Systems * Hardware / Software integration * Mil-Std-1553 and Military Standards You may already be a trainer looking for freelance work with a trusted associate or a software professional looking to work on projects on short term contracts with a dynamic company - either way, please contact us if you are interested.
