Startup social entrepreneurship is seeking a website built from scratch that will be able to grasp/pique customer interest quickly. Text is already available and will be pulled from our old website, but will need to be made more concise (with my help of course). Website will also have a shopping cart in which one product and one ebook will be sold. Experience designing sites for integration with Shopify is a major plus, but is by no means required. Page will be for a green-friendly business and will be 'clean' - by that I mean, I do not want the page to be inundated with too much text/many pictures. I prefer it to be simple, attention-grabbing, and thought provoking, and will not clutter the customer's mind upon first viewing. In other words, please send a proposal ONLY if you will be able to create a well-designed professional-looking, yet simple webpage. Proven SEO expertise is looked upon favorably -- please describe what you can do to raise organic search results leading to my webpage. I already have a banner/logo ready, but freelancer is expected to have some graphic design experience, so that they can restructure this banner to fit in the upper left corner of the new website. FINAL GOAL: Upon completion of our agreement, I expect to have a customer see the website, be interested enough to stay on website, learn more about product and the cause that we will donate a % of profits towards, go to purchase page, complete purchase (with integration of shopping cart, Shopify, etc.), and receive confirmation email. Your profile portfolio must include samples of webpages you've already created (preferably for at least 2 separate companies). If your portfolio is empty, then please send me samples as an attachment with your proposal. IMPORTANT: I must have access to edit this website after our agreement is over. Or if website programming is very complicated, I must at a bare minimum have easy access to edit the blog portion of the page.
