Job Description I'm looking for developers who have experience with Elgg a social network engine (http://docs.elgg.org/wiki/Main_Page). I would like to configure/change plugins, add plugins for http://childfinanceinternational.org/ Not everything has to be programmed some thing can just be configured if your have experience with Elgg. I'm looking for a rough estimate of hours needed to do the adjustment in your reaction. 1. General: a. Delete old bot-registrations in site access (about 1500 that cannot be deleted from siteaccess-plugin) i. 20 minutes b. Automatically verify emails for users created by admin. Currently they show up as unverified email-addresses in Siteaccess-Plugin. c. Text-editor: i. Add additional formatting options to all editor-windows (currently only in pages and front-page) ii. Eliminate automatic double-spacing after each paragraph d. Allow to assign (explicit) Permalinks to pages and functions as in Wordpress e. Export possibility to Salesforce or at least CSV-format of all contacts f. General/Profile: tick-box "subscribe to newsletter" on registration form + unsubscribe option in User-profile g. After registration the popup should tell users to check spam folders for email-validation email in case they haven’t received it. h. After membership validation through admin: send automatic welcome text i. Since we have a professional audience, all occasions of “Friends” should be exchanged by “Contacts” j. Embed Google Analytics tracking code 2. Newsletter: a. Create form asking for personal details (name, organization when subscribing to newsletter). b. Send newsletter-confirmation email to new subscribers. 3. New features: a. Group-summary view: view all groups on platform as list when clicking on “online-communities” in top-bar in order to get overview of the different groups. 4. Profile: a. Under “Edit-Profile” it can shows wrong social network (Fb, twitter) associations. A mechanism needs to be applied that checks that social networks accounts are only assigned to one profile on our Website. b. Username should be concatenated “first name & second name” in registration form and separate field “username” should be deleted. c. User Profile Information should be in logical order (e.g. address information in one block) & Social Networks should be separated as input d. “Account-Settings”-link not visible on “Edit Profile”-page e. Link "edit profile" when viewing another user's account as admin redirects to account settings instead of "edit profile" 5. Member-Search: a. Show "organization"-tag for all members in the list, if none -> "independent" 6. Calendar: a. Events appear only in list-view 7. Wiki-Pages: a. Organization & programs can be linked to each other, but currently it is only possible to set this link via “add programs”-> Organizations. The field then disappears when one wants to edit the page later on. This field should always be visible and a matching field “programs” should also be included in the add/edit organizations page-edit view. b. It should be possible to link several organizations to one program and vice versa several programs to one organization. c. After deleting a wiki-page the admin should be redirected to pages-overview. d. Only admins can delete a wiki-page. For all other users a delete-request should be sent to the admin e. upload a photo/image without adding it to the resources-database in order to embed it in posts/wikis f. sort pages alphabetically and by date of creation or modification 8.Transfer of information (contact-details, but also info from the website-wiki about programs/organizations) from Excel-Spreadsheets (where it is currently stored) and integration/Sync of those information between Website and Salesforce.
