Seeking developer for software project aimed at gathering, collecting, and storing, on-demand and/or ongoing collection of content from social media data pipes, along with traditional websites based on search term results. Software will do the following: � Provide web interface to define search terms & conditions. Interface will allow user to add multiple search terms for gathering and collecting purposes using standard search conditions. � Allow for inclusion of specific sites, exclusion of specific sites as defined in interface by user. � Provide Data Range Search Capabilities � Provide capability to schedule search for multiple future events � Use traditional search techniques to return all search content from developer specified major search engine (Yahoo, Google, etc.) � Connect data pipes from social media platforms using json and atom api interfaces (at minimum Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Google +, Google Blogs) � Search and collect content from Google Reader � Gather information from RSS Feeds as defined in interface � Mashed standard storage format for content from all different data sources � Deduplication feature for repeated content in the collection process � Allow for CSV level import through interface � Allow for CSV (Columnar) export through interface � Allow for concurrent use by multiple users. � Allow search to be saved, edited, and rerun � Allow for ongoing automation of collection once streamlined. It is acceptable to utilize other programs, services, creations to gather this information on demand (API�s, Open Source Programming, Yahoo Pipes, etc.) as long as they are available for open use. The program must allow for the addition of an increasing number of data pipes as additional social media platforms present themselves or need to be added. Current system that will be enhanced is python and PHP based. Content to be delivered, collected and stored in MySQL & PostgreSQL database format: � Search Term/String � Count Volume of search term � URL � Date the content was posted (Month & Year) � Geographical Location (If available) � Site Type (News, Blog, Social Media, Traditional Website, Review Site � reference a database listing these sites, along with what is included, and tag the information accordingly) � Actual Unstructured Text Content (+/- 10 words) � Traffic ranking of the site where text was collected (Alexa Ranking or other similar service) Keywords: Other Software Programming & Support
