We are looking for a freelancer that can design a mother mold for our diecasting busyness. We are just starting this busyness and need a technical plan on how to make a die for diecasting of zinc alloy's. The design of the mold would be a mother mold. What we make are medals http://www.bleyweert.com/page41/photos/photos-4/index.html for images of the work w now import from china. We would like to use 1 or several mother molds that will have inserts. The insert will be the engraving for the medals. Let's say we need to make medal A 250 pc's then we insert the plate with the design of medal A inside the mold and start casting, after it is finished we will insert plate B and start casting and so on. The mold should have fixed ejector locations, most of our medals are about 90 - 100 or 110mm and in rare cases 120mm at the largest point's. We would like to start with a mold with 1 insert for a medal plate. We think ejecting on 4 points outside the medal areay would be best, we can always cut off the exess material and sprews later in th finishing process. Design would be for a full technical drawing and dxf file so we can imprt it into our cad/cam system (ESPRIT 2011) Please send a ficture of any design you have done for this type of projects.
