Job Description Principal Enterprise Integration Architect A Supply chain and logistics company with offices in Portland, OR is in need of a Principal Integration Architect. As a member of the company?s Solutions Architecture team, the Principal Integration Architect is responsible for defining, upholding, and communicating the vision of the IT architecture and solutions that support the Tibco project (SOA/EAI) integration implementations for enterprise applications. This individual will provide architectural leadership, guidance to collaborate and support the DAR team with respect to Business Support, Technology, Governance and finance teams to align the IT solutions with the needs of the enterprise. This individual will gather integration requirements and lead requirement gathering sessions and design sessions. This individual will be working closely with Principal and Enterprise Architects, TIBCO specialists, onshore and offshore developers Data and Business Analysts and functional teams. In particular, they will guide and support the delivery of new IT solutions. A Principal Integration Architect skills and knowledge must span multiple architecture domains specifically to Integration Architecture preferably related to TIBCO EMS, TIBCO Business Works, Axway X1B, Application/solution architecture, Information/Data Architecture & Business Architecture to ensure balanced solutions. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will report to the Senior Manager Solutions Architecture Design and lead the implementation of a Tibco/SOA Integration Architecture based on enterprise business requirements and IT strategies Gather requirements from the business and cross functional teams to determine the proper application integration solution. Translate business and user requirements into accurate system requirements specification documents through systems and data analysis Demonstrated skills in architecting SOA based integration solutions for enterprise customers Ability to estimate task and workload to achieve deliverables and goals, delivering on time and on estimation Development of and adherence to integration standards o Integration Standards o Development / tool related o Data related o Process related o Messaging related Interacts regularly with Business Analysts, application developers, Architects, Developers, Application Support and Operations Development with Tibco Business Works, application adapters, message structures, common object models, and templates Assist in definition, design, and management of Enterprise Architecture components and low-level technical Architecture design documents. Help in creating and implementing a SOA based architecture Other responsibilities as necessary QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: ? Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience. ? Familiarity with basic information management practices. ? Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Discipline and frameworks ? Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments. ? Minimum 5 years of experience designing and supporting complex multi-tiered applications ? Demonstrated experience across TIBCO product suite ? Business Works, EMS, Adapters (technology adapters, application adapters), BC, HAWK, Java, Enterprise Integration and web services ? Minimum 1-3 years experience in integration patterns, best practices and implementing SOA concepts leveraging TIBCO product suite ? At least 1 project implementation involving an ICC model (defining and leveraging a common integration framework across multiple integration projects) ? Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills in using Canonical Models ? Working knowledge of UML, SQL, JMS, SOAP/WSDL ? 1-2 years experience with XML Spy ? Excellent communication and documentation skills are required ? Ability to handle multiple concurrent activities and projects ? Excellent analytical and technical skills. ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ? Excellent planning and organizational skills. Preferred Skills/Experience ? At least 2 years of Fortune 500 company experience and/or companies with global presence ? At least 2 years working in a global outsourcing model ? At least 2 years of cross cultural experience ? At least 3 years experience in Supply Chain Management, Freight Forwarding, and/or Contract Logistics preferred ? Application Development background preferred.
