SEO/SEM/PPC Specialist
Job Description Fremont College, a leading higher education institution, is seeking an analytical thinking marketing professional to manage its SEO and SEM programs, as well as social media. Success in this position will include increases website traffic through paid and organic means, enhancing social visibility, and increasing admission lead volume. As a member of the Fremont team, this candidate must be able to effectively and efficiently organize team tasks in alignment with monthly admission goals. The position requires a fast-learner and independent thinker with knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM). SEO Responsibilities - Experience in keyword research, build-out and implementation - Experience implementing SEO via core website and WordPress blogs - Experience with proven link-building strategies - Optimization of site navigation, internal linking structure, URL structure, dynamic page templates, code, etc. - Basic understanding of search engine algorithms and ability to enhance our program based on search engine updates and changes - Experience with CMS/content managed websites a plus - Copywriting experience (blog content writing and optimizing copy for SEO) SEM/PPC Responsibilities - Creation and build of Google AdWords and Yahoo/Bing adCenter accounts - Keyword research, bidding, campaign/ad group, match type creation and build out - Ongoing weekly management of clients PPC/SEM campaigns based upon keyword, CPC/bidding and copy performance - Complete campaign management based upon campaign ROI goals - Report generation and analysis - Strong analytics skill set required - Solid understanding of paid search metrics Position Requirements: - Strong Google Analytics, Google Webmaster tools skill set required. Tracking tagging, goal/funnel analysis, etc. - Social media/optimization and strategy experience a plus (Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, etc.) - Creation of optimization search, social media and analytics strategy document and reports (well versed in Excel) - Maintain an understanding of industry trends and research industry related media, journals and trends Education/Experience: - 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience required; Background in business, communications, psychology or English preferred. - 2 years relevant work experience or experience specializing in paid and organic search optimization and management.
