mysql does not permit users to purchase multiple accounts
I want to permit MULTIPLE accounts for members. My site currently does not permit members to have more that one account. I want to change this to PERMIT multiple accounts. Accounts are based on the users email address. When a duplicate email address is input. I get this response... "Duplicate entry 'usersemailname@someaddress.com' for key 2" <----------------------------------------------------------> Code snipit from my database; ----------------------------- ""PRIMARY KEY (`id`), UNIQUE KEY `email` (`email`)"" <------------------------------------------------------------> REQUIREMENTS: (A) The correction must not corrupt or disrupt my current live systems in any way when I apply the update / changes. (B) I will need to be able to make the changes myself to my active sites. (C) I will need complete comprehensive step by step instructions/documentation on what changes to make or were made in case I want to undo and revert back to single accounts only. A clear fullscreen video on making the changes would be very helpful, but is not a requirement. I have set up a full working dummy site at www.eHits.info Dummy user EMAIL: dummy@dummy.com Dummy user PW: dummy ADMIN login: http://www.ehits.info/admin.php USERNAME: admin PW: admin Also consider the fact that a request for lost password will be an issue. If all account ID's and associated passwords to that email address will be sent. Then that should be acceptable unless you have additional concerns. Each user is assigned a unique referral ID number to promote their personal page with which is also a separate account to make changes to their ads for that account. I must be able to perform the solution to my active and future websites. I also do not want to do something that can not be undone if needed. If you respond to this project please provide me with your plan on how you will be able to manage the changes requested. Payment will be made from my Scriptlance escrow account.
