Job Description As part of a high growth strategy, CyberSense is seeking to hire qualified web developers to join our software development team. Responsibilities Include: • Development and deployment of current and upcoming projects. • System administration and internal problem solving to include the testing/debugging of applications for past, current, and future projects. • Some project management. • Customer service. Requirements Include: • Expert level PHP5/MySQL experience with working knowledge of PHP4. • Advanced knowledge of object oriented programming (OOP) with PHP. • Experience with PHP frameworks including CakePHP and CodeIgniter. • Advanced knowledge of JQuery. • General web development skills: HTML/JavaScript/CSS/etc. (Graphic design skill is not required) • Knowledge and experience with XML/JSON/RESTful/SOAP technologies. • Experience developing on Linux/Unix platforms. • Experience with open source software, e.g. Worpdress, Joomla, Drupal, etc. • Experience writing extensions for Open Source Software and CMS systems. • Knowledge of setup and administration of BSD/Linux servers. • Experience with Object Oriented Analysis & Design, UML and/or the Rational Unified Process. • BA/BS in Computer Science or Engineering or the equivalent. • ASP.NET experience a huge plus. Required Attributes: • Understanding of the development lifecycle. • Ability to proactively work and take on an assortment of responsibilities within a fast-paced, small-team environment. • Ability to communicate and interface well with internal and external non-technical people including clients, business development, graphic designers, business process consultants, and other internal stakeholders. • Excellent oral and verbal communication skills. • Project management experience is an extreme plus.
