Job Description Hi, I'm currently working on a community website and like to hire a ruby on rails expert to help me finish building it. My goal here is to find some one who will help me build the rest of this application but as my teacher so that I gain the needed knowledge to do this in future by myself. Some books aren't enough help and some times advice is needed from experts who were once going through what I am as beginner/early intermediate in ruby on rails. I've been programming now in rails for about 9-10 months. What I'd like is to hire someone who normally spends their day programming in ruby on rails to be available via instant messenger we will use teamlab to keep track of the project and my private github account. So far I have coded full user signup, login, forgot password, remember me including notification emails from scratch, users can login and a session is created (sessionstore) and user can update profile information, change password, change email. The next thing I intend to do is work on a photo gallery, then search/browse, friends lists, account settings, payment integration and a few other things such as user ratings etc. I'll put what I've done so far on heroku so who ever I hire can see. Please no outrageous hourly rates. I'm looking for some one affordable who I can hire on a long term basis. Good clear spoken English is a must. You must me proficient in: RUBY RUBY ON RAILS RSPEC Have some experience in: HTML, HTML5, XHTML CSS, CSS3 JQUERY and you must: - have good communication skills. - be quick to respond to issues. - have GTalk/Skype for instant messaging or voice communication, don't mind which one. Extra terms I'm only interested in serious programmers with feedback/reviews, work they have fully completed with references for that work they can back up. It's best not to refer me to work that's not yours as that plan will most likely backfire.
