For our new site my wife and I are still looking for a suitable contractor: Goal: Give site visitors a reasonable impression how they would look in selected shoes/sandals/boots, by automatically(!) morphing the selected shoe model with their own uploaded photo. Process steps: 1) Edge detection of shoes/boots and feet/legs: Need NOT be automatic, instead can offer user "magic wand" as in graphic software (Paint.Net etc), such that user "helps" to determine the edges. This mitigates difficulties like shades, perspectives, shoe and background color, etc. - Need only consider differences in object proportions! 2) Morphing shoes/sandals/boots onto the feet/legs of the user's uploaded photo: MUST be automatic, NO manual "setting of dots" (as in "morphing software"). However, is easy once the edges have been identified, see above! 3) Animation: Let user view final image from different perspectives, ie let user turn image on at least one axis - as known from Animation software, Google Earth, etc! Requirements: Your code must run on standard webservers and browsers (probably php, javasript, etc). Must be embeddable on a Wordpress site, ie within wp security concept and database environment (eg users can only see their own images, not from other users). Code must be lean and fast (put little strain on server). Code must be "future-safe" (standalone). Note that we do already have the shoe images from all view angles. The code does NOT need to result in a pixel-perfect image but must give the user a reasonably clear impression. - An UNRELATED example site for GLASSES you can see here: /eyetry.html Can YOU do this for shoes?? Have you developed sth similar that you can re-use here? Or do you know of existing software that could be used? Please give an estimate of the price range to develop this code.
