We are looking to engage a UI Front End Developer on a definite contract of a year to work in the telecoms industry Responsibilities: Producing attractive designs that are aesthetically pleasing to the end-user. Developing functional and user-friendly navigation systems for products and services. Performing web-development of online services through a variety of technologies Digitally optimizing media for efficient delivery and presentation. Ensuring that online material complies with accessibility standards. Verifying proper functionality in different browsers and at different resolutions. Supporting the content team to ensure that online content is relevant and up-to-date. Delivering functional, attractive and user-friendly designs for end-user services. Ensuring compliance with service quality guidelines and IT standards Skills & experience Required Experience using HTML5 and CSS3 Advanced Javascript skills (DOM, Ajax, JSON, jQuery) Experience with publicly available JavaScript APIs Good workin knowledge using Ruby and Ruby On Rails, as well as CoffeeScript Unix utilities Diploma certification, or preferably a University degree in Computer Science. Good communication skills Excellent aesthetic and creative skills. Good team player.
